Julie Irvine, Director / Rye Pre-school
“We had a drab, boring and uninspiring foyer at our kinder. Diane redesigned this space to make it welcoming, functional and simply beautiful. Diane was amazing to work with. She listened to our ideas and needs and then put her creative flair and pizazz to this project. Diane coordinated all parts of the project including ordering furniture and sorting tradespeople. She even hand painted the most beautiful huge belonging tree upon our wall. Our foyer is now bright, friendly and so suited to our kinder community. Diane was a dream to work with. We are so proud of this wonderful space and would recommend Diane highly for any project you may have.”

PROCESS
Project development from design to completion
To ensure a smooth end to end process we follow typical development stages. We pride ourselves on our bespoke service and are aware that each client and scope of works is unique. Our tailored approach and flexibility offers you the very best outcome. Our clients trust that through collaboration we create perfect interiors.
Pre-design/brief
We ask our clients to brief us on their requirements and desires. The brief will always be a reference point. It is a golden opportunity for you to communicate your ambitions, requirements and ideas for your chosen space. Together we compile a document with a wish list of desires, wants and needs, imagery and descriptions. We facilitate this process with an easy to fill checklist. This vital stage captures the essence of the clients’ lifestyle. Where applicable a site visit takes place.
Ideation
During this stage the concept is explored freely and informally whilst being open to lateral considerations and interpretations. Through exploration, experimentation and lateral thinking this stage builds the best foundation for your project. Initial designs are shared, the client approves the direction before the concept design commences.
Concept design
The concept design begins and a preliminary selection of materials and finishes can be explored. During this stage we draw by hand adding dimensions whilst considering scale and a preliminary estimate of the cost.
Design development/pricing
Upon concept agreement, the design will be fully elaborated. Design development results in detailed drawings which includes floor planning, sections and elevations. Materials, surface and colour finish sample boards are produced along with a project schedule of required items. With this level of detail, we provide an updated cost estimate.
Documentation/construction
Once the cost estimate is approved the construction and documentation process commences. Schedules of all finishes and products are finalised including descriptions of the quantity of materials and finishes.
LIGHTING PROJECTS
Jenni & Peter Brennan / Residential, Upper Beaconsfield
“We had a great time having you advise us on our lighting. We know how important it is to light the rooms to give practicality, warmth and personality to our home. We think it will look fantastic and appreciate your assistance. Diane was easy to work with and had great ideas which will show our rammed earth walls to their best advantage, giving the house warmth and character. She spent lots of time interpreting our plans, explaining her ideas and demonstrating her concept. We would have no hesitation in recommending her.”
Emily Lee / Residential, Red Hill
“Di helped me with a pre-renovation consultation. We discussed colours, textures, design and finishes. She helped me immensely to hone my own style and vision for the design. She bought a wealth of experience and fresh eyes. The most important changes to our kitchen were thanks to her design input. Di is extremely professional and approachable. I highly recommend engaging her services. I’m delighted with the end result and Di helped me maximize the renovation within my budget.”
